چکیده
Aims: The present research is focused on screening in vivo and insilico anti- amnesic activity of the ethanolic extract seeds Chenopodium quinoa. To establish exact mechanism action, phytochemical constituents were subjected to silico studies using schrodinger pass software.
Methodology: powdered material quinoa dried extracted with ethanol by soxhlation technique. In evaluation was carried Transfer latency Elevated plus maze, Novel object recognition test Passive avoidance time cook’s pole climbing apparatus. major phytoconstituents molecular docking PDB ID: 1EVE, 6N33, 2FV5 6W2X. The effect of intracerebroventricular administration of insulin on memory impairment-induced by scopolamine in male rats
Introduction: Cholinergic neuronal deficiency is one of the main causes of Alzheimer's pathology, which leads to learning and memory impairment. Scopolamine is a muscarinic cholinergic antagonist commonly used to induce Alzheimer's disease (AD). Insulin also regulates learning and memory function. Thus, the aim of this study was to determine the effect of central administration of insulin on pa...
متن کاملEffects of Different Coumarin- 3-Carboxamide Agents on Scopolamine Induced Learning and Memory Deficit in Mice
Introduction: It has been shown that three new synthetic coumarins-3-carboxamides including 3-fluorobenzilchloride, 4-fluorobenzilchloride and 2-hidroxy-3 metoxybenzaldehyde, have acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity. This study was performed to estimate ameliorating effect of these new coumarin-3-carboxamides on memory impairments induced by scopolamine (1 mg/kg, induced prolongation) in m...
متن کاملthe effects of anethum graveolens essence on scopolamine-induced memory impairment in mice
since anethum graveolens (dill) has phytoestrogenic compounds and it is proven that estrogens exert beneficial effects on cognition; the aim of this study was to understand if this plant can improve memory performance. male balb/c mice weighing 25-30 g were used in this study and memory was assessed by the novel object recognition task. in this method, the difference in the exploration time bet...
متن کاملThe role of CA1 α-adrenoceptor on scopolamine induced memory impairment in male rats
Introduction: Similarities in the memory impairment between Alzheimer patients and scopolamine treated animals have been reported. In the present study, the possible role of α-adrenergic receptors of the dorsal hippocampus on scopolamine state-dependent memory in adult male Wistar rats was evaluated. Methods: The animals were bilaterally implanted with chronic cannulae in the CA1 regions o...
